- Among the most notable are the major transportation infrastructure projects in California, USA, and the infrastructure privatization initiatives he has facilitated and participated in India, the Philippines, and other parts of Southeast Asia
- In 2007, SVBTC was bestowed an award for innovative design and construction in the international bridge category by the American Segmental Bridge Institute, ASBI
- Receipt of Pre-stressed Concrete Institute (PCI) Award 1998 for the San Mateo toll bridge retrofit project – Industry Achievement Award & Best Retrofitted bridge award
- Has authored over 20 articles on seismic design of new and existing reinforced concrete bridges in journals, reports, technical workshops and conferences
Experience in Highway Development and Operation
- Managing Director of Second Vivekananda Bridge Tollway (SVBTC) , Kolkata, West Bengal, India
- Metro Manila Skyway & Tollway - Civil works & systems Integration team leader for the turnkey
toll collection and traffic management group of Syntonic (later acquired by TransCore)
- Project Director for a 6-8 lane 61¬-kms long Circumferential Toll Road - C-6 (largest integrated BOT toll road) in Philippines
- Worked on the initial stages of integration for the project management and systems integration for the 18-kms long twin-track Metro Manila EDSA MRT Line 3, Philippines
- Worked on the development of an unsolicited PPP proposal to the PT Jasa Marga, the toll authority of Indonesia, for an access controlled high-speed toll corridor
- Worked on USD400-million 16-km state route 125 tollway in San Diego, at the USA-Mexico border
- Served as the technical director from 1995 through 1998 for preparation of bridge seismic analysis and retrofit design, plans, specifications for San Mateo toll bridge
- USA’s First automated and privatized tollway- Worked on design, engineering, construction inspection and on-site engineering for the $125 mn four-lane 10-mile (16-kms ) long privately financed SR 91 Tollway, California
